We've fitted many Greddy turbochargers now for the MX-5 and although it is a good kit for the money there are areas of the kits that could be upgraded. The downpipe is one such area. The standard downpipe that comes with the kit is quite restrictive.

In designing a new downpipe, we've consciously tried to look at both flow and ease of fit. The XS-Speed 2.5" downpipe is made from TIG welded stainless steel for strength and durability and comes in two parts, which makes it easy to fit the downpipe without having to dismantle the turbo or exhaust and gives some adjustment.

The result is a downpipe that gives faster turbo spooling, but still is easy to fit and looks good.
